Sleningford family camping and canoeing/kayaking at the lovely Watermill campsite near Ripon on the banks of the River Ur. This has been a stable in the Sudbury Canoe Club calendar because whilst the campsite is not the cheapest, it is beautifully maintained with toilets and shower blocks and a little shop. It sits on the River Ur which includes moving water to develop skills on and a drop for the daring - it is a great place to relax, boat, get out, boat again.....the campsite can be seen here but the booking will not be open until March. We normally phone to hold pitches so that everyone has a week to log in and pay.
